The Cottage Grove Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Skate Night at the Highlands Park pond, 70th Street and Idsen Avenue, from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 — the first two skate nights were canceled due to weather. There will be free hot cider and cookies and the first 100 people will receive glow necklaces. The park building and bathrooms will be open.
