Planners for this year’s Mardi Gras celebration at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Paul Park have added a day and two new activities. The event, “Pirates in the Park,” will begin with a taco dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, followed by a live auction at 7 p.m. On Sunday, Feb. 10, activities scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. will include games of chance, food, beverages, a country store, raffles, a silent auction, Bingo, bake sale and games for kids.
