Cottage Grove charter commission to meet

The Cottage Grove Charter Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Cottage Grove City Hall, 12800 Ravine Parkway. The commission will continue to discuss the items mentioned in the petition for home rule charter. The two topics for discussion at the meeting as requested in the petition are the issues of recall, and the right to place limits on city bonding and indebtedness. An open forum for citizens to address the commission occurs at the beginning of each meeting.
