Cottage Grove resident John Kriesel, a former state representative and Minnesota Army National Guard veteran, will talk about his book, “Still Standing,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at R.H. Stafford Branch Library, 8595 Central Park Place, in Woodbury. Kriesel, who lost his legs and two friends in a roadside bomb attack in Iraq, will discuss his survival and his life now. The session is free and open to the public.
