Martin Stern, local plant expert and owner of Squire House Gardens, is hosting an indoor plant clinic from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the shop, 3390 St. Croix Trail S., in Afton. Stern will share tips on feeding, watering and care to keep indoor plants healthy and happy until spring. Guests are also invited to bring a houseplant for diagnosis, “as long as the plant is transported through the elements very carefully,” Stern said.
