The Cottage Grove Parks and Recreation Department will host a skate night from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Highlands pond, at the intersection of 70th Street and Idsen Ave. All are invited for free hot cider and cookies. The first 100 participants will receive glow necklaces. There's also a hill for sledding and the park restrooms will be open.
