“Crawlies,” a naturalist-led program focusing on insects, arachnids and other invertebrates found in the woods and prairies, will be held from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Lake Elmo Park Reserve. After playing a game that shows how insects fit into the food chain, the group will catch some crawlies in the park to get a closer look.  “Zumba on the Beach” fitness sessions are scheduled from 9-10 a.m. at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve swim beach Saturdays and Tuesdays through Labor Day. Certified Zumba instructor Stephen Blythe leads the sessions, which offer a full body, cardio kick-start full of music and dancing. If you go, dress for outdoor physical activity and bring water to stay hydrated. Both programs are sponsored by the Washington County Parks Department. The programs are free; parking is $5. For details, visit www.co.washington.mn.us/parks. Lake Elmo Park Reserve is located at the intersection of County Roads 19 and 10, one mile north of Interstate 94 in Lake Elmo.
