On Tuesday afternoon the condition of a Cottage Grove, Minn. was changed from undetermined to fair, according to Regions Hospital officials.
The man, John Hiber, 42, was one of two motorcyclists injured in following a crash on St. Croix County (Wis.) Road A, just northeast of Hudson, at around 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
The St. Croix County Sheriff's Department said Hiber and Janet Dordal, 49, St. Paul, were heading north on County Road A riding side-by-side when the accident happened.
The accident report said Dordal and Hiber failed to negotiate a curve near County Road U, collided with each other and then were thrown into a ditch.

They were both taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where on Monday afternoon a hospital spokesman reported that Dordal was in serious condition.
