CITY OF NEWPORT
NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2008 Open Book Meetings for owners of property located in the City of Newport in Washington County, Minnesota, will be held at the following locations.
Cottage Grove City Hall on Thursday, the 10th of April 2008, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Oakdale City Hall on Wednesday, the 16th of April 2008, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Woodbury City Hall on Thursday, the 24th of April 2008, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Washington County Government Center on Wednesday, the 30th of April 2008, 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
These meetings are held for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said Real Estate for the year 2008.
All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at any of the above mentioned meetings, and show cause of having such assessment corrected.
No complaint that another is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.
