Brooklyn Park couple killed in car/train crash

The two people killed when their automobile collided with a train Monday have been identified.

The two people killed when their automobile collided with a train Monday have been identified.

They were David J. and Judy M. Brost, both 56, of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and were husband and wife, according to a press release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Autopsy results are pending.

The two died when their northbound automobile crashed with a westbound train at about 11:30 a.m. Monday at the junction of Portage Road Northeast and a Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad about 3 miles west of Bena, according to a press release.
