Emergency crews were called shortly after noon to a report that a car struck a tree at 8676 Indian Blvd. One passenger was reported to have been ejected from the small sedan, which was lodged against the tree.

Crews transported the female passenger on a stretcher, while the three men were interviewed by police. They too were then taken by ambulance to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Cottage Grove Police Capt. Greg Rinzel said.

Two of the vehicle occupants were from Cottage Grove. Another was from Maplewood, the fourth from New Richmond, Wis.
