South Washington County School board meeting times to change

When District 833 School Board members gather for their only meeting in July, it will be marked by a change in start times for board meetings.

All meetings in 2013-14 will start at 6:30 p.m. Now, the start time for the first meeting of the month is 6 p.m. The meeting includes a workshop session in casual setting. The second meeting of each month starts at 7 p.m.

The board decided to change the policy to have a uniform start time.

Board meeting dates for the next academic year will be Aug. 8 and 22; Sept. 12 and 26; Oct. 10 and 24; Nov. 7 and 21; Dec. 5 and 19; Jan. 9 and 23; Feb. 6 and 20; March 6 and 20; April 10 and 24; May 8 and 22; and June 5 and 19.

The board will also hold a retreat on Saturday, Aug. 10.
