Cottage Grove police reports for Feb. 21: Trespassing, fire, assault

Trespassing
Police were called by 3M to Kingsborough Court on Feb. 5 on a report of suspicious activity. A man was trespassing on 3M property. The man told police he was looking for deer antlers. He was told not to trespass.
Fire
Cottage Grove firefighters extinguished a small fire found near White Pine Assisted Senior Living on East Point Douglas Road at about 2:45 p.m. Feb. 7.
Assault
A 12-year-old Cottage Grove male was referred to the Youth Service Bureau for fifth-degree assault after he punched another boy during a Feb. 8 incident in the 7700 block of Hinton Avenue.
