Cottage Grove seeks recipes for community cookbook

The city of Cottage Grove wants your best recipes.

The city’s Advisory Committee on Historic Preservation plans to compile a community cookbook and sell it at this year’s Strawberry Fest.

The commission is soliciting recipes from residents, churches, schools, businesses and city departments and commissions. The recipes would be organized in sections between historic educational content and pictures.

After production expenses are covered, the committee will recommend that the cookbook sale proceeds be placed into an account for the creation of a future all-inclusive playground within the city of Cottage Grove.

Submissions are preferred in Word format and can be sent to Cottage Grove Senior Planner John Burbank at jburbank@cottage-grove.org.
