Park freshman Zach Wills helped the Wolfpack wrestling team earn a 35-31 upset of 11th-ranked White Bear Lake last week.
It was a good week for Park’s Zach Wills.
Wills, a freshman, helped the Wolfpack wrestling team earn its biggest win of the season thus far – a 35-31 upset of 11th-ranked White Bear Lake – in a Suburban East Conference dual meet last week. Wills moved up a weight class and won 5-0 at 195 pounds to put Park up 29-28 – and for good – in the Park’s win over the Bears. Wills also qualified for the 9th grade state tournament last week, taking first place in the regional tournament. Though battling against mostly upperclassmen in his weight class, Wills is 15-9 on the year overall.
