Despite not being full-strength the Park gymnastics team flexed its muscles in a 140.525 – 131.025 Suburban East Conference win over Forest Lake on Thursday at Park High School.
With Sarah LaBrosse sidelined with an illness and Rachel Deephouse still recovering from an ankle injury and only able to compete in one event, Park won each event of the meet, scoring a 36.675 on vault, 33.150 on bars, 34.850 on the beam and 35.850 in the floor exercise.
Park senior Kasondra Tulloch led the way for the Wolfpack in the victory, winning the all-around competition with a score of 36.65. Tulloch had the top score in the vault (9.375), on the bars (9.425) and in the floor exercise (9.475) and took fourth on beam (8.375).
Park senior McKay Zurn placed second in the all-around with a 35.375, earning second in the floor exercise (9.2), second on the beam (8.925) and third on the bars (8.45).
Also, Park sophomore Sarah Schank took third in the all-around with a 34.375 and had the best score of the night on the beam (9.050). She also took third on the vault (9.075). Deephouse took second in her lone event, the vault, with a score of 9.275.
