Trespassing
Five people were cited for trespassing following a reported fight shortly after 4 a.m. Dec. 16 in the 700 block of Portland Avenue. Those ticketed were a 32-year-old St. Paul Park woman, a 32-year-old St. Paul Park man, a 21-year-old Cottage Grove man, a 19-year-old Cottage Grove man and a 22-year-old Cottage Grove man.
Property damage
A woman living in the 9000 block of Grey Cloud Trail called police Dec. 17 to report that a man drove off the road in front of her house, damaging the car and leaving vehicle parts in the yard. The car belonged to a neighbor, who was contacted by police.
A St. Paul Park man reported Dec. 23 that a group of juveniles had kicked open the front door of his home in the 1400 block of Dixon Drive and had gone through his vehicle parked at the residence.
Theft
A St. Paul Park man reported Dec. 18 that a utility trailer and snowblower were stolen from his property in the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Dec. 19 that someone entered her car and stole a cellphone while the vehicle was parked in the 1500 block of Dixon Drive.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Dec. 23 that a GPS device, cordless drill and another tool kit were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Dayton Avenue.
A Cottage Grove woman reported Dec. 24 that someone broke a window on her car and stole her purse from inside the car while the vehicle was parked in the 1000 block of Hastings Avenue.
A Minneapolis woman and St. Paul man reported Dec. 28 that someone broke into their vehicle while they were inside Stone Soup Thrift Shop, 950 Third St. They said a passenger window was smashed and clothing and a purse were stolen.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Dec. 30 that someone broke a window on her vehicle and stole $300 worth of girls clothing while the vehicle was parked in the 900 block of Third Street.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Jan. 3 that her vehicle was broken into overnight while it was parked in the 1600 block of Dixon Drive.
Tobacco compliance
Police cited a Finja’s Liquor store clerk on Dec. 20 for selling tobacco to a minor. Police were conducting tobacco compliance checks.
Assault
A St. Paul Park man was arrested for alleged domestic assault following an incident on Dec. 26. Police arrested Jacob M. Halterman on suspicion of fifth-degree domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call after a Cottage Grove woman told police he assaulted her.
Domestic
A St. Paul Park man was transported to a Hastings detox facility Dec. 29 after police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Pullman Avenue by a female who reported that her father had been drinking and was fighting with her mother.
