Cottage Grove police brief: Midday burglary interrupted at business
A Cottage Grove business visible from Highway 61 was burglarized in the middle of a recent afternoon.
A Cottage Grove business visible from Highway 61 was burglarized in the middle of a recent afternoon.
Bieter Eye Center, 8617 West Point Douglas Road, reported a burglary about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23.
According to the police report, an employee working upstairs in the business heard a sound on the main level. The employee saw a vehicle leaving the scene.
Pry marks were found on the front door and about $200 cash was stolen, according to the report. There were no suspects.
