'Hale to the Bird 5K' set for Thanksgiving Day in Cottage Grove
Organizers are planning the third-annual Hale to the Bird 5K on Thanksgiving Day in Cottage Grove.

Organizers are planning the third-annual Hale to the Bird 5K on Thanksgiving Day in Cottage Grove.
The run begins at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, at Hamlet Park.
Everyone is invited to take part. All proceeds from the run will go to Friends in Need Food Shelf in St. Paul Park.

To register, go to active.com. The fee is $25.
An estimated 100 people ran in the 2011 race.
