A Park High School student was cited by police after heckling a classmate involved in a Veterans Day flag vigil in Cottage Grove.
A Park High School student was cited by police after heckling a classmate involved in a Veterans Day flag vigil in Cottage Grove.
Students in Park’s Air Force Junior ROTC program conducted a 24-hour flag vigil outside the school building Nov. 8-9 to commemorate Veterans Day. A school employee contacted police on Nov. 9 after three students were found heckling one of the Junior ROTC cadets participating in the flag vigil.
One of the three students — a 15-year-old Cottage Grove male — was ticketed for disorderly conduct.
