A chilly start wasn't enough to scare off the crowds from the fifth annual edition of the Monster Bash Parade in Cottage Grove Saturday morning.
Crowds lined up along the mile-long route on East Point Douglas Road for the Halloween parade that is put on by the Strawberry Fest Committee that plans Cottage Grove’s annual summertime festival. A Friday night taco dinner, dance, silent auction and costume contest at the VFW Post 8752 Red Barn kicked off the weekend.
