Cottage Grove's move to new city hall to limit service Friday
Operations at the city of Cottage Grove will be interrupted Friday as city staff begin the process of moving to the new City Hall and public safety building set to open Monday, Oct. 29.

The city of Cottage Grove will begin the process of moving from the existing City Hall on 80th Street into the city's new general government and public safety facility on Friday, limiting some city services, the city says. Operations at the city of Cottage Grove will be interrupted Friday as city staff begin the process of moving to a new city hall and public safety building set to open Monday, Oct. 29, the city warned this week.
Service will be limited at the current Cottage Grove City Hall, located at 7516 80th St., when the phone and computer systems are taken off-line beginning at noon Friday to prepare for the move to the city's new home, at 12800 Ravine Parkway, over the weekend, the city said in a press release.
Public safety and public works operations will not be impacted Friday, the city says.
