East Ridge sophomore Emily Betz earned the gold medal at the Blaine Invitational, edging standout teammate Bailey Ness for first place overall.
The East Ridge cross country team had a new frontrunner for the first time in a long time last week.
East Ridge sophomore Emily Betz earned the gold medal at the Blaine Invitational, edging standout teammate Bailey Ness for first place overall. Betz’ time in the 4K race was 14 minutes, 55.9 seconds. As a team, the Raptors – ranked third in the state – won the meet by a large margin.
