Highway 61 bridge reopens after new span lifted into place (W/VIDEO)

The Highway 61 bridge in Hastings was closed over the weekend while crews moved the main span of the new bridge into place and lifted it up to the new piers. Traffic is once again flowing across the existing bridge as work continues on the new bridge.
The Hastings bridge reopened to traffic Monday morning.
