Boys soccer: Hajovy, Park take down Woodbury 2-0

Nick Hajovy scored twice as the Park boys soccer team beat rival Woodbury on Thursday.

Park beat rival Woodbury 2-0 in the intra-district and Suburban East Conference showdown at Woodbury High School.

With the win, Park improved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the SEC this season. Hajovy, a senior attacker, has now scored five of Park’s goals this season.

Woodbury, which was ranked 11th in Class AA into the game, fell to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the SEC with the loss.

Park now holds a 2-1-2 over Woodbury in their five head-to-head games since the 2008 season. Woodbury beat Park 2-1 in their only matchup last year.
