Cottage Grove police brief: Dentures stolen from duffel bag

A Cottage Grove resident’s dentures were among items stolen from inside a garage.

A resident called police Aug. 8 to report a theft from a home in the 7500 block of Jeffery Avenue. Someone entered the garage and stole a duffel bag from a vehicle. The bag contained dentures valued at $3,200 along with an iPod music device and clothing items. In all, some $4,297 worth of items were stolen. There are no suspects.
