A Cottage Grove resident reported June 13 that a storage container with office supplies valued at $20 and another $20 in cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 7700 block of Irvin Avenue.
Police received a report June 13 that a window was broken on a vehicle parked in the 8900 block of Ironwood Avenue. Damage: $350.
Police received a report June 13 that a window was broken on a vehicle parked in the 7700 block of Hearthside Avenue. Damage was estimated at $500. A knife valued at $30 was stolen from inside the vehicle.

BP gas station, 8490 East Point Douglas Road, reported June 19 that someone broke a bathroom commode off of the wall.
Police were called around 11:45 p.m. June 13 to a home in the 8500 block of Greystone Avenue on a report of youth drinking. Police found 15 juveniles and adults under age 21 at the home; some had been drinking. Minor amounts of alcohol were consumed. An adult was home at the time but was asleep and was not aware of what was happening. No citations were issued, and the case was handled with parents.
Police were called to 70th Street and Inwood Avenue shortly after 7 a.m. June 16 on a report of possible fighting. Subsequently, a 20-year-old St. Paul woman and a 20-year-old South St. Paul woman were ticketed for minor consumption.
Police received a report June 14 that a vehicle was hit by paint balls while it was parked in the 8200 block of Grenadier Avenue.
A Cottage Grove resident reported June 15 that someone broke a pot, damaged a wind chime, moved a bench and scattered cardboard outside a home in the 6300 block of Homestead Lane. Damage: $60.
Police were dispatched to American Motorsports Bar and Grill at midnight June 15 on a report of a fight. When police arrived the situation was calm; suspects had already left. No citations were issued.
Police responded to a fight between two women around 11 p.m. June 15 in the carnival area of Strawberry Fest at Kingston Park. The women were yelling obscenities around young children. No citations or arrests.
A 41-year-old Cottage Grove man was cited for fifth-degree assault after he allegedly punched another man in the face during a June 16 fight at a home in the 7700 block of Hinton Avenue.
