NOTICE OF FILING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That a Federal, State, and Municipal General Election in the City of Newport, in the County of Washington, State of Minnesota, will be held on Tuesday, the 6th day of November 2012, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
That the first day for filing Affidavits of Candidacy for the following offices:
One Mayor Seat
(Four-Year Term)
Two Council Member Seats
(Four- Year Terms)
will be Tuesday the 31st day of July, 2012 and the last day for filing Affidavits of Candidacy for said election will be no later than 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday the 14th day of August, 2012.
