East Ridge freshman Brenley Goertzen helped the Raptors’ girls 3200-meter and 1600-meter relay teams finish with All-State honors in both events at the 2012 Minnesota State Track and Field Meet.
Last week, one of East Ridge’s youngest athletes proved to be one of its best.
East Ridge freshman Brenley Goertzen helped the Raptors’ girls 3200-meter and 1600-meter relay teams finish with All-State honors in both events at the 2012 Minnesota State Track and Field Meet.
In the 3200 relay, Goertzen helped East Ridge finish fifth with a time of 9 minutes, 32.11 seconds. East Ridge also took fifth place in the 1600-meter relay with a time of 3:59.29.
