Cottage Grove police reports for June 13

Recent criminal activity includes fraud, shoplifting, property damage and vehicle tampering.

Shoplifting

Menards, 9000 East Point Douglas Road, reported May 23 that someone stole merchandise without paying for it. Police cited a 48-year-old St. Paul Park man for shoplifting.

Fraud

A Cottage Grove woman told police May 18 that someone made a fraudulent $30 transaction with her bank account.

A Cottage Grove woman reported to police May 20 that someone made $620 worth of fraudulent charges with her bank account.

Vehicle tampering

A Cottage Grove resident reported May 18 that someone had rummaged through a vehicle parked in the 7700 block of Jasmine Avenue. Loose change was stolen.

Property damage

A Cottage Grove resident reported May 19 that a shed was hit with paint balls at a home in the 8500 block of Ideal Avenue. No damage estimate was listed.

A Cottage Grove resident reported May 23 that he found a 2-inch diameter hole in the vinyl siding on his home in the 7100 block of Meadow Grass Avenue.
