Start your search: Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest Medallion Hunt begins Wednesday
The annual medallion hunt is sponsored by the South Washington County Bulletin and Edina Realty-Cottage Grove. The winner will receive a $300 cash prize, with proof of a Strawberry Fest button. The award is $200 without a button.
It’s time to begin your hunt: The 2012 Strawberry Fest Medallion Hunt contest starts Wednesday, June 13.
The annual medallion hunt, sponsored by the South Washington County Bulletin and Edina Realty-Cottage Grove, will last as long as it takes for a savvy searcher to find the medallion.
The first clue was published in the Wednesday, June 13, print edition of the Bulletin. Clues will appear on the Bulletin’s website — www.swcbulletin.com — each weekday until the medallion is found. (There will be no new clues released on weekend days.)
The clues also can be obtained by calling the Strawberry Fest Medallion Hunt hotline at 651-458-6532, or by visiting the Bulletin at 7584 80th St., or Edina Realty at 8475 East Point Douglas Road.

Once found the medallion must be brought by the winner to the Bulletin office to confirm the find, arrange for photographs and schedule to receive the prize.
Participation rules: You must be 13 years or older, otherwise accompanied by a parent. Employees, agents and family members of Edina Home Services and the South Washington County Bulletin cannot participate. The medallion is the property of the Bulletin.
