Park’s D’Monte Farley dazzled at the Section 3AA championships.

Farley, a senior and University of North Dakota recruit, qualified for the 2012 MSHSL state meet in the maximum four events – running the anchor leg of the Wolfpack’s state-qualifying 400-meter relay, earning second place in the 100-meter dash and winning the 200-meter dash and the long jump at the sections. Farley’s time in the 100 was 10.88, the second-best in the state this spring. He also popped off a meet-winning long jump of 22 feet 6 inches, just an inch off his school record and the third-best mark in the state this year, and won the 200-meter run with a meet-winning time of 22.16 seconds. The Wolfpack’s 42.20 time in the 4x100 was the fastest recorded in the state so far this year.
