The Park baseball team’s up-and-down season came to a halt last week.

Seeded 12th in the 12-team Section 3AAA tournament, Park upset fifth-seeded Prior Lake 7-6 in the opening round, but fell to fourth-seeded Eagan 9-4 in the second round – a game shy of the double-elimination final four.

Park finished the year 5-16 overall. After starting the year 1-1, the Wolfpack suffered a nine-game losing streak from April 17 to April 30. The Wolfpack then went 4-6 in its final 10 games.

Park graduates eight seniors from its 2012 roster — Alex Briggs, Drew Flack, Curran Rooker, Jake Carrigan, Kyle Fritz, Marshall Freeman, Nate Klika and Spencer Diedrich.
