Park girls golf: Keys, Hofstetter earn conference awards

With last week’s Suburban East Conference championship tournament being postponed twice and eventually cancelled, the Park girls finished in eighth place in the 10-team conference standings.

Two Wolfpack teammates earned conference honors at the regular season’s end.

Park sophomore Anna Keys was an All-Conference award winner and eighth grader Lexi Hofstetter earned All-Conference honorable mention honors. Keys finished fifth overall.

The 2012 SEC champion was Stillwater.

Next, Park will compete in the two-day Section 3AAA tournament on Wednesday, May 30, and Friday, June 1, at Phalen Golf Course in St Paul, and Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids, respectively.
