The season came to an end for Park sophomore Kathy Melton and the youthful Wolfpack softball team last week.
The season came to an end for the youthful Wolfpack softball team last week. Park, which finished the year 7-13 overall and 6-12 in the Suburban East Conference, fell 13-4 to the No. 2 seed and ninth-ranked Class AAA squad from Lakeville North in the second round of the Section 3AAA tournament on Monday. Park has two eighth graders, a freshman, six sophomores and three juniors on its roster, but must now say goodbye to one senior - Kayla Hemmingson.
