The East Ridge baseball team fell 5-3 to Tartan in the opening round of the Section 4AAA baseball tournament on Friday. The eighth-seeded Raptors, which finished the year 9-11 and 8-7 in the Suburban East Conference for sixth place, had a 2-1 lead after the first inning, but saw it come undone as the ninth-seeded Titans (9-11) scored four runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-2 lead, then held on for the win.
East Ridge is losing 10 seniors to graduation — John Chatterton, Lance Durand, Dalton Herron, Andrew Kemper, Mark Landgrebe, David Lang, Aaron Rau, Josh Rollins, Andrew Sammon and Thomas Wermers.
