After shooting a season-low 185 two weeks ago, the Park girls golf team turned in higher scores in a pair of Suburban East Conference tournaments last week.
Park shot a nine-hole 216 to take ninth out of 10 teams at North Oaks Golf Club on Monday before shooting a 210 to take ninth place on Wednesday at the White Bear Yacht Club.
At North Oaks, sophomore Anna Keys led the way for Park with a 45 on the par 38 course. Eighth grader Lexi Hofstetter carded the Wolfpack’s second-best score on the day with a 55. Eighth grader Annika Hein (57) and senior Joelene Dittman (59) rounded out Park’s top four. Stillwater’s Cassie Deeg won medalist honors with a 35. The SEC-leading Ponies won the match with a 160.
At the White Bear Yacht Club, Keys again shot a 45 to lead the way for Park. Hofstetter scored a 49 for the Wolfpack’s second-best score and Hein (55) and Dittman (59) rounded out the Wolfpack’s top four.
Deeg and Cretin-Derham Hall’s Celia Kuenster each shot 35 to share medalist honors. Stillwater won the match with a 176.
Park was at an invitational tournament in Forest Lake on Monday. Next, the Wolfpack has a conference match on Thursday at Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury.
