The East Ridge girls golf team earned fourth place in a recent Suburban East Conference match, held Monday, April 23, at Stillwater Country Club.
The Raptors shot a 192 in the nine-hole tournament. Stillwater won the match by 26 strokes with a 163. Hastings (189) finished second. Cretin-Derham Hall (191) was third.
East Ridge sophomores Molly Richardson and Andriel Aimua led the way for the Raptors with matching 46 scores. Senior Ashley Lehner (48) wasn’t too far back with East Ridge’s third-best score. Senior Celina Spencer and sophomore Taylor Anderson each shot 52 to tie for the fourth best Raptors’ score.
After the conference match, East Ridge competed in the Lake City Invitational at the Lake City Golf Course, earning fourth place in the eight-team tourney with an 18-hole 372. Woodbury won the invite with a 362. Richardson carded an 87 to finish with East Ridge’s best score and took third place overall. In addition, Aimua shot a 92 to take ninth place and Anderson shot a 95 to earn 15th place.
East Ridge competed in conference matches on Monday, at North Oaks Golf Club, and Tuesday, at White Bear Lake Yacht Club, after the Bulletin went to press. Next, the Raptors travel to Forest Hills Golf Club in Forest Lake on Monday, May 7.
