Got old pills to dispose? Washington County will take them Saturday

The public can drop off expired and unused prescription drugs to be properly disposed at a drug “take-back” event Saturday in Stillwater.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Public Health and Environment Department are working with the Drug Enforcement Administration on the “take-back” campaign.

People can drop off potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Washington County Government Center, 14949 62nd St., Stillwater.

The site will be located in the main lot at the government center with easy drive-thru access. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
