300 gallons of gas stolen from Cottage Grove golf course
Gas stolen from a tank at River Oaks Golf Course was valued at over $1,000.
Someone stole roughly 300 gallons of gasoline from River Oaks Golf Course, police said.
The municipal golf course reported April 17 that sometime in the evening hours of the preceding two days someone removed about 300 gallons of unleaded gas from a storage tank at the maintenance shop. The golf course is located at 11099 West Point Douglas Road.
It was not clear what equipment was used to remove the gas, and police had no suspects.
The gas was valued at $1,065.
