East Ridge eighth grader Megan Tarara batted .429 with a homerun, four RBI and four stolen bases last week for the Raptors.
The youthful East Ridge softball team kicked off the 2012 season last week and Megan Tarara wasted little time before providing a breakthrough performance. In East Ridge’s season opener, an 8-7 loss at Cretin-Derham Hall, Tarara – only an eighth grader – was 3-for-4 with a homerun in the game. On the year, the Raptors’ leadoff hitter is batting .429 with a homerun, four RBI and four stolen bases through four games.
