Police: Brush fire at Cottage Grove park started after teens play with flares
Four 11-year-old St. Paul Park boys were referred to Youth Service Bureau in connection with a large brush fire at Hamlet Park.

Four 11-year-old St. Paul Park boys were referred to Youth Service Bureau in connection with a large brush fire at Hamlet Park.
Police were called to the park March 18 after someone reported seeing juveniles playing with flares. One boy threw a flare, causing the fire.
Cottage Grove firefighters extinguished the fire.
No structure damage was reported.
