Cottage Grove police brief: Horses on the phone?
A woman called police after answering her phone and hearing what sounded like horses running.
A woman called Cottage Grove police shortly after midnight March 6 to report suspicious activity involving her phone.
The woman said she answered the phone and heard what sounded like horses running.
She later learned that her daughter had dialed the phone number by accident while driving. The sound the woman heard was the vehicle’s turn signal, according to the report.
