St. Paul Park police reports
Recent police activity includes thefts, fights, property damage and assault.
Theft
A St. Paul Park woman reported Feb. 26 that a cellphone and wallet were missing from a home in the 900 block of Ninth Street. A suspect was identified.
Super America gas station, 545 Summit Ave., reported a $44 gas drive-off Feb. 21.

A St. Paul Park woman reported Feb. 18 that someone entered her vehicle overnight and stole a jacket and jewelry while it was parked in the 700 block of Fourth Street. No suspects.
Fight
A Newport man and a St. Paul Park man, both age 38, were found fighting at Super America gas station, 545 Summit Ave., shortly after 5 a.m. Feb. 19. Police responded and talked to the men. They were friends and were fighting over loaned money. One man was drunk and wanted his vehicle keys to drive home, according to the report. Citations were issued for disorderly conduct.
Police were called at about 2:30 a.m. Feb. 18 to the Super America gas station, 545 Summit Ave., on a report of a fight in progress. When officers arrived, a store employee said four males had left in separate vehicles.
A man called police shortly before 10 p.m. Feb. 10 to report that he had been assaulted by a large group of people in the parking lot of Park Place Bar, 200 Broadway Ave. The man, age or hometown was not released by police, said approximately 20 members of the Hell’s Outcasts motorcycle gang assaulted him. The alleged suspects then left in several vehicles, the man said.
Possible fight
Police were called Feb. 18 to a home in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue on a report of a possible fight. A woman who lives at the home said no fight had occurred; she was having a party and her relatives get loud when they party. A warning was issued.
Property damage
A Cottage Grove man reported Feb. 18 that his truck was damaged while parked in the 200 block of Broadway Avenue. There were scratches on the side of the truck.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Feb. 10 that she and her boyfriend heard someone shattering windows on their vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Summit Avenue. They suspected the woman’s ex-boyfriend.
Assault
A Hopkins man reported at about 2 a.m. Feb. 18 that he had been assaulted by 15 to 20 people outside Frankie’s Bar, 304 Broadway Ave. The man appeared to be drunk and he refused medical treatment, according to the report. There were no known suspects.
Suspicious male
A St. Paul Park man out walking his dog ended up getting arrested. Police were called Feb. 14 to the 1300 block of Dixon Drive on a report of a suspicious man. Officers found Scott C. Meissner, 35, of Cottage Grove, in the area. He was subsequently arrested for an outstanding warrant and for allegedly providing false information to police. He was booked at the Washington County jail.
