Park Athlete of the Week: Erick Majerle

Park goalie Erick Majerle has been stonewalling the competition lately.

    Park senior goalie Erick Majerle stopped 26 of 27 shots in a 3-1 win over Rosemount, made 33 saves on 34 shots in a 2-1 win over Mounds View and had a season-high 51 saves in a 1-1 tie with Eastview over the past week.

Park goalie Erick Majerle has been stonewalling the competition lately.

Majerle, a senior, stopped 26 of 27 shots in a 3-1 win over Rosemount, made 33 saves on 34 shots in a 2-1 win over Mounds View and had a season-high 51 saves in a 1-1 tie with Eastview over the past week. Majerle’s lone loss in his last five starts came to Roseville, when he made 41 saves. Majerle is 10-8-3 with a 2.87 goals against average and a .911 save percentage on the year. The Wolfpack is 11-8-2 overall.
