Park Athlete of the Week: David Ayers

Park wrestler David Ayers helped the Wolfpack open some eyes last week.

    Park senior David Ayers earned a 15-0 win at 132 pounds against Wayzata, won a 4-0 decision against Farmington and had an 11-6 decision in the win over Chatfield last week. He is now 14-3 on the year.

Park wrestler David Ayers helped the Wolfpack open some eyes last week.

Park improved to 17-4 on the season with wins over Wayzata, Farmington and Chatfield and nearly upset No. 8-ranked Hastings and Milaca, which is ranked seventh in Class AA last week.

Ayers, a senior, earned a 15-0 win at 132 pounds against Wayzata, won a 4-0 decision against Farmington and had an 11-6 decision in the win over Chatfield. He is now 14-3 on the year.
