A District 833 assistant principal was immediately terminated last month following an arbitrator’s decision backing the dismissal.
A District 833 assistant principal was immediately terminated last month following an arbitrator’s decision backing the dismissal.
Woodbury Middle School Assistant Principal Keith Burcar officially lost his job following a Dec. 15 School Board vote. The reasons for his termination are not public under state law.
The board approved a resolution proposing his termination in June. Burcar challenged it, sending the case to independent arbitration last fall. The arbitrator sustained the proposed termination, prompting the final vote last month.
