Two East Ridge teachers in running for state 'teacher of the year' award

Two East Ridge High School teachers have been nominated for Minnesota Teacher of the Year.
Special education teacher Krissy Boyd and English teacher Mary Seidel have both been nominated for the Minnesota Teacher of the Year through Education
Minnesota, the teachers' union.
The 2012 Teacher of the Year will be named at a ceremony May 5, 2012.
The Minnesota Teacher of the Year also becomes Minnesota's candidate for National Teacher of the Year.
