District 833 School Board, St. Paul Park mayor election forums tonight
Candidates for the District 83 School Board and the two candidates for St. Paul Park mayor will participate in election forums tonight.
The League of Women Voters of Woodbury-Cottage Grove plans an forum for the South Washington County School Board candidates and the St. Paul Park mayoral candidates.
The event will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 at St. Paul Park City Hall. The forum will be moderated by League of Women Voters members and will begin with the two St. Paul Park mayoral candidates – Mayor John Hunziker and challenger Keith Franke – from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The seven School Board candidates on the Nov. 8 ballot will answer questions from 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. The candidates are incumbents Ron Kath, Jim Gelbmann and Leslee Boyd, and challengers Steve Lagoon, Katie Schwartz, Joe Ryan and Lezlie Schriver.
The forum will be broadcast by the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission.
