The iconic Cottage View Drive-In has been a popular destination for movie-goers since 1966. The drive-in celebrated its 45th year of operation in 2011.
Despite speculation that the site along Highway 61 in Cottage Grove would be sold for development, the drive-in continued to draw fans for multiple movies on weekend evenings in 2011.
Cottage View is one of few drive-ins in the area.
